The DEXI disc wood chipper efficiently processes diverse forestry and wood waste—including logs, branches, trunks, leaves, wood blocks, planks, scrap wood, roots, discarded furniture, and sawmill residues—into uniform, high-quality wood chips. These wood chips feature consistent size, good fluidity, and high usability, making them ideal for biomass fuel, pulp and paper, particleboard, and organic recycling. The machine produces standard chip sizes suitable for most industrial applications, with adjustable output specifications to meet specific client requirements.

The disc wood chipper plays a crucial role in the whole production line, as it determines the overall output and the final size of wood chips.
1. Chipping: This stage processes biomass waste into 3-5 om wood chips, preparing the material for subsequent crushing.
2. Crushing. The wood chips are further ground into fine sawdust with a pellets size of 3-5 mm, achieving an ideal for pelletizing.
3. Drying:Using a dryer, the moisture content is reduced to about 13%-the ideal level for making pellet formation.
4. Pelletizing:The dried material high pressure into wood pellets, typically with diameters ranging from 6 to 12 mm.
5. Cooling:The pellet cooler reduces the temperature of the pellets (85-90°C) to ambient temperature, easier to store.
6. Packaging:The cooled pellets are automatically weighed and packed into bags of 25-50 kg, followed by stitching or sealing.
7. Palletizing:Packed bags are systematically stacked onto pallets to faclitate safe and efficient handing, storage, and logistics.
8. Wrapping: Loaded pallets are securely wrapped with stretch fim, ensuring stability, protection from moisture and contaminants.
