DEXI drum wood chipper is a powerful, heavy-duty machine designed to process logs, branches, slabs, and other wood waste into uniform wood chips. The thickness of last chips is 3mm-5mm, length and width is about 15-30mm, it is wood chips not wood shavings. It is characterized by its namesake component: a large, rotating steel drum mounted with multiple hardened steel cutting blades. By adjusting knives gap, outlet chips dimension will be adjusted.

The wood pellet machine plays a crucial role in the entire production line, as it determines both the overall output capacity and the final pellet size.

The wood pellet machine serves as the core component of a wood pellet production line—essentially the heart of the entire system. The complete production process comprises: chipping → crushing → drying → pelletizing → cooling & screening → packaging → palletizing → film wrapping.

① Chipping: This stage processes raw logs, forestry residues, and sawmill waste into 3–5 cm wood chips.

② Crushing: The wood chips are further ground into fine sawdust with a particle size of 3–5 mm.

③ Drying: Using a rotary dryer, the moisture content is reduced to approximately 13%—the ideal level for pellet formation.

④ Pelletizing: Where it is compressed under high pressure into wood pellets, typically with diameters ranging from 6 to 12 mm.

⑤ Cooling: Freshly extruded pellets exit at elevated temperatures (85–90°C) and require cooling before packaging. 

⑥ Packaging: The cooled pellets are automatically weighed and packed into bags of 5–25 kg, followed by sealing.

⑦ Palletizing: Packed bags are systematically stacked onto pallets to facilitate safe and efficient handling, and logistics.

⑧ Film wrapping: Loaded pallets are securely wrapped with stretch film, ensuring stability, protection from moisture.
