DEXI Hammer mills are a type of highly efficient impact crushing equipment with a wide range of applications. Their core principle is to use high-speed rotating hammers to impact, shear, and grind materials, thereby crushing them into small pellets or fine powder. The mina to their performance lies in the matching of hammer speed, screen aperture, and material characteristics. The finely ground materials can be directly used for pelletizing, making it a versatile solution for both feed and biomass industries.

Main Application Areas

Feed Industry: Crushing corn, soybean meal, straw, etc., it is a core piece of equipment in feed processing.

Grain Processing: Crushing grains, beans, etc.

Biomass Energy: Crushing wood chips, wood blocks, branches, and agricultural waste; a key upstream equipment for preparing biomass pellet fuel. The wood pellet machine plays a central role in a wood pellet production line — it's the heart of the entire process. The full production flow includes: chipping – crushing – drying – pelleting – cooling & screening – packaging：

① Chipping:

Converts raw logs, forestry residues (branches, trunks), and sawmill waste (bark, offcuts) into 3–5 cm wood chips, making them suitable for secondary crushing.

② Crushing:

Grinds the wood chips into 3–5 mm fine sawdust, which is ideal for pelletizing.

③ Drying:

Quickly removes excess moisture from the sawdust. The rotary dryer reduces the moisture content to around 13%, the optimal level for pellet production.

④ Pelletizing:

The dried material is fed into the pellet chamber, where it's compressed into wood pellets with a diameter of 6–12 mm.

⑤ Cooling:

Freshly made pellets have a high temperature of 85–90°C and cannot be packed immediately. They are cooled to room temperature in a pellet cooler before packaging.

⑥ Packaging:

Packs the cooled pellets into 5–25 kg bags and stitches them automatically. The packaged pellets are easy to store, transport, and sell.
