The DEXI wood pellet machine efficiently converts diverse forestry and wood waste—including logs, planks, scrap wood, sawdust, wood shavings, leaves, branches, trunks, roots, wood blocks, discarded furniture, and sawmill residues—into clean, eco-friendly energy pellets. These pellets are characterized by low emissions, a controlled combustion rate, and extended burn time. Available in standard diameters of 6–12 mm, pellet dimensions can also be customized to meet specific client requirements.
The wood pellet machine plays a crucial role in the entire production line, as it determines both the overall output capacity and the final pellet size.
① Chipping:This stage processes biomass waste into 3–5 cm wood chips, preparing the material for crushing.
② Crushing:The wood chips are further ground into fine sawdust with a pellets size of 3–5 mm for pelletizing.
③ Drying:Using a dryer, the moisture content is reduced to about 13%—the ideal level for making pellet formation.
④ Pelletizing:The dried material high pressure into wood pellets, typically with diameters ranging from 6 to 12 mm.
⑤ Cooling:The pellet cooler reduces the temperature of the pellets (85–90°C) to ambient temperature to store.
⑥ Packaging:The cooled pellets are automatically weighed and packed into bags of 25–50 kg, followed by sealing.
⑦ Palletizing:Packed bags are systematically stacked onto pallets to facilitate safe, efficient handling and storage.
⑧ Wrapping:Pallets are stretch‑wrapped for secure stability and protection against moisture and contaminants.
